Cassidy originated the role of Fern in the new folk rock national tour of “Charlotte’s Web” with Theaterwork’s USA.
She originated the role’s of Sam in Adam Gwon’s world premiere workshop of “All the World’s a Stage”.She also originated the role of Mads in the world premiere workshop of Ryan Scott Oliver’s new musical “Three Points of Contact” at the Maltz Jupiter Theater.
She originated the role of Ash in Ren Dara Santiago and Mack brown’s world premiere workshop of the new play “The Big Bad”.
She was a Carnegie Hall soprano soloist for the Hall’s premiere of Ola Gjeilo’s choral masterwork “A Soul Filled Journey”.Other credits include: The Sound of Music (Maria), Godspell (Jesus), Urinetown (Sally), The Little Mermaid (Ariel), 25th Annual Spelling Bee (Schwarzy).
She has a knack for making new worlds come alive, and has worked on new plays and musicals for and with Marshall Palliet, Alex Hare, Shelly Butler, Julian Mesri, and Jessie Field. -
Cassidy’s one woman horror-show, Grown Up Bedtime stories, was selected for the SNAP! Festival at the Flynn Theater in Burlington, Vermont. It premiered at The Tank’s Midnight fest in 2025. It was a finalist for the Terrance McNally incubator in 2026 and won a NYC Artist Corps grant in 2021.
Cassidy’s new musicals (Goliath and Bermuda Triangle) with writing partner Ethan Carlson have received 29 hours workshops produced by Very Intense productions, and their music has been heard at Joe’s pub, 54 below, and on multiple singles on Spotify.
Cassidy wrote the vertical series “Rich Reno” alongside Tiffnay McCollough and Paul Cooper, which is being produced, shot and distributed by J Brinson Entertainment and JMB collective.
Her short film scripts have won accolades at Cinequest, Vail and Atlanta Film Festivals. Her script Killing Cherry Jane is in the top 10% of scripts on Coverfly. -
As the Artistic Director of Divine Riot, a non-profit production company devoted to empowering and serving independent artists, Cassidy has produced several successful Equity Showcase codes and ground breaking world premiere workshop productions for over 2,000 audience members. She has produced community engagement events and advocacy programming, like therapeutic talk backs and gaming experiences, alongside these productions.
On her own she has produced numerous Equity 29 Hour musical workshops, concerts, immersive productions, short films, and app-integrated experimental performance works.
Most recently she is a lead producer on the vertical series Rich Reno with the JMB collective and J Brinson Entertainment, which is her highest budget producing experience to date.
